 Milestone Project Review Architecture Façade     This first assignment is a little funny to look back on, considering all of the new Rhino skills I've gained since then. It is easy to critique it and think of all the different ways I would go about building it now. However, for a first exploration into Rhino software I'm still satisfied with it.    Laser Cut     This laser cut project was one of my favorites projects from this class. I really enjoyed exploring the relationship between "home goods" or sentimental objects and the industrial process of laser cutting and engraving. As well, it was interesting to explore the limitations of machines in our modern society.       If I were to return to this project, I would continue with the theme of chaos vs control, but I would source a laser cutter that could actually complete the cut jobs.  Organic Object Model     This assignment was an interesting take on reverse engineering an object. Drawing in 3D     Drawing in 3D.mp4 on Vimeo        I'm very pleased with Project 3 and my final video product. I was worried about the outcome of this project when it was first assigned but unexpectedly found a very rewarding and interesting area of 3D printing that I could explore. As noted during peer discussions, if I were to revisit this project I would isolate more variables, and perhaps be more deliberate about what the final object shape would represent. There are also a few things in the video that I would neaten up before adding them to my portfolio, such as font consistency and certain transitions. But overall this project was one of my favorites this semester, and I feel like I've uncovered curiosity about this process that I didn't know I had, so I'm keen to revisit this project eventually.
